As part of the SM&CR, banks, building societies, credit unions and insurance companies had to submit their directory persons data by 9 March 2020 which was then due to be published by the FCA on the Financial Services Register by the end of March 2020. However, following the COVID-19 outbreak, the FCA has decided to postpone publication of the directory of certified and assessed persons for at least a month or until further notice by the Authority.
This is not applicable for FCA solo-regulated firms under the SM&CR which must submit their data by 9 December 2020.
